Brian Mefford, a member of the task force from Bowling Green, also serves as president and CEO of ConnectKentucky, a nonprofit organization that promotes Internet access and technology. He said one of his favorite themes from the project was finding ways to teach Kentucky children to become players in a global economy -- through better use of foreign language skills, for example.
